We are Diana and Olga, two state-recognised early childhood educators with pedagogical passion, many years of experience and a warm view of family life.
Diana and Olga
We support children not only with professional knowledge, but also with real-life experience. As mothers, we know everyday family life from the inside: the beautiful moments, the uncertainties, the organisation and the small transitions.
This helps us understand parents and children in a realistic and compassionate way. Families should feel seen and welcome with their questions, worries and needs.
Diversity as part of our attitude
Our own cultural diversity and migration background shape our pedagogical attitude. We know that arriving and settling into a new environment can be challenging for families.
That is why we want Meisennest to be a place in the middle of Berlin where children and families feel safe, understood and welcome, regardless of origin, language or life situation.
Our strengths in everyday life
Music is a natural part of our work. We both play piano and include music in the daily rhythm: a rain song, a sunshine song or a familiar welcome song in the morning circle.
Diana brings a special strength in creativity and movement. Child-friendly yoga, creative activities and movement impulses create space for body awareness, expression and calm.
Olga focuses on language support in everyday life. Reading aloud, picture books and language-rich situations create an environment in which children discover the joy of communication.
A calm, appreciative atmosphere
Music, movement, creativity and language come together in our daily work. Everything takes place in a calm, respectful and relationship-oriented atmosphere where children can arrive, play, discover and grow at their own pace.
